978 own Spoon Digga brought us back to Lawrence/Haverhill to shoot the third project with him and his partner Green Monstar. We took the whole day out to film this newest release to Spoon Digga’s project Record Bodier. Check out the video and stay posted on this man’s career.
We sat down with John Ruiz the first Latino Heavyweight Champion of the world and we discuss his life as a boxer, his passions, what it takes to be a professional boxer and how did it feel to go up against Evander Holyfield and win. I wasn’t into the boxing thing but I remember that one fight that changed his life, I was actually in Chelsea, MA where he is from and I remember every house I walked into was packed with John Ruiz fans rooting him on so it was great to meet such a well respected individual. We met up with Business Owner and incredibly talented Jason Zube once again for another episode of Inkage, a series that we filmed at The Painted Bird another one of Jason’s tattoo shops in Massachusetts. This time we went to Davis Square to Jason’s other shop The Boston Tattoo Company where Dante was getting the legendary Walt Disney D on his forearm to signify his respect for Walt’s craft throughout the years. I have personally seen Dante collection of Disney DVD’s and it’s pretty big so he was definitely an influence on not just Dante but the whole world and now Mr. Luna shares that legacy for life. With the deadline of the Mixtape getting closer we came across a big problem the engineer that we created the project with messed up the Wav. files so O.T.O and Primo Profit bought a 12 hr block and banged out the whole 12-14 track mixtape.
